I don't remember where i found this picture, but it always makes me smile!

Seaweed Sushi

Tried something new at one of my favorite sushi places. I forgot what this roll was called but it has something to do with Green Bay. It had delicious seaweed salad and Gobo (salmon roe) on the outside and spicy tuna on the inside. Quite tasty!

This was a sushi diner btw. It's a super tiny sushi place but the sushi chef and people there are great!!! This little gem has been discovered by many people though and there can sometimes be a long wait. I think it's worth it!

Ruflled Feathers

Look at this cutie I saw at an interesting pet store. He's tiny, maybe only 7 inches tall! I tried to touch him but he ran away. My mom would be horrified that I tried to touch him. Ha!

I want a little rooster too. I'd name him Napoleon because he's be the personification of small man syndrome! Such a cutie, I just want to squeeze him! I wonder how my landlord will feel about me getting another pet...

Last Light

I've still been hammering away at my secondaries but there is a faint glimmering light at the end of the tunnel. The opposite is occurring with the season though! Summer is fading in a very awkward "warm during the day and freeeezzzzing (below 70) after 5 o'clock" kind of way. Some recent pictures.

Charlie's vet checkup didn't go too well and she's still on antibiotics and now also a diet acidifier vitamin, but she seems happy! I gave her a bath after the vet visit because she had some doody on her butt so now she's beautiful and fluffy! 

Had my volunteer training in the emergency department at the hospital today. Some of the patients there just looked miserable, it was really sad to see them suffering away in the waiting room. Can't wait to be a doctor so I can actually do something! Speaking of which, time to get working on those apps!

Meeting tomorrow morning. boo hiss.

I JUST remembered this photo I took of Charlie bear a couple weeks ago. Since I sprained my ankle and am eyeball-deep in secondaries thus have no energy to dress up, I will post this instead. 

Haha this was before her haircut. She's skinny now and she wears her sweater because it's getting cold!

Shmigraine

Recovering from a migraine from last night. Feeling a lot better now. Well enough to update my blog! 
I was looking at a friend's website who takes wedding photos and I am now suddenly gripped with a fear of looking old in my wedding photos!!! Wedding photographers should be experts at photoshop I decided. Airbrush the crap out of those. I'd rather be unrecognizable than look old! stressed out!


Anyhow at home with Charlie tonight. I gave her a haircut over the weekend so she's skinny and naked now. I let her sleep in my bed last night even though my mom repeatedly tells me not to. She probably knows deep in her heart that I ignore her when it comes to my Charlie Bear.

This was taken by my roommate sometime last week (on my awesome Korean camera app) when it was sunny and beautiful! I'm shielding the sun while also conveniently hiding my face which actually looks really tired because this was after a rather long stressful day at work. It's starting to get cold now and I'm completely unprepared for fall!!! I found an old coat I used to wear when I was probably 12. I think I'll wear it again because it miraculously still fits! Good coat, or lack of a growth spurt? I will leave it up to you to decide later. I'm really lusting after a closet full of chunky knits and new boots. Boots of all sizes and shapes and colors! How I love thee boots. 
oh and a faux fur coat. I've always wanted one and will continue to search until I find one. And then I'll probably continue to search for another, and another, and then another. 

TGILDW

Thank God It's Labor Day Weekend (TGILDW)!
I desperately need the extra time to work on my secondaries. On Monday I'm volunteering for the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon, a cause that's very dear to my heart. Call in and donate!
