I Have a Tripod

MCAT Countdown: 1 day

My MCAT is tomorrow so needless to say, I've been doing copious online window shopping. Since my latest obsession has been shoes, specifically nude platform wedges but platform wedges in general also, I thought I would share some of my unaffordable finds.
heels.com; L.A.M.B.-Vogul
lorisshoes.com; Jeffrey Campbell-Mary Roks
(these are actually "just" $120 but they are all sold out everywhere. a source of great sadness to me)

Polyvore.com; Sold at Topshop.com; Unique-Twist Knot Sandals

net-a-porter.com; Diane von Furstenberg-Opal Leather Wedge Sandals
I love the interesting woodwork on the wedge and the simplicity of the straps.

endless.com; Nine West-Rotten Ankle Strap Wedge Sandal
These would have been the perfect spring wedge if they had my size. I love the neutral color, exactly what I've been looking for. Also notable are the clean lines and I particularly love the covered wedge.  I feel like it brings a polish to the shoe that espadrilles and cork wedges lack.

Last night my friends and I made an impromptu decision to go to one of our favorite grunge bars.  This is definitely not typical pre-MCAT behavior, but I feel oddly calm.
I believe this is the feeling that is described as the calm before the storm.  I am standing in the eye of the tornado.
However, my sweet friend surprised me with a care package this morning, which definitely cheered me up. With friends and family to hold on to, I feel more confident that I'll be able to emerge from this storm still standing.
No outfit updates since I have not really put much effort into getting dressed lately. I will definitely have more updates after MCAT doom.
Cheers!
