It all started with an interview at Stonybrook Medical School, which I think went well enough. I am always hesitant to say anything for certain because, well frankly, I don't know! As soon as the interview was over, I was ready for the party to begin. First, J and I went sledding, and then we picked up the Hurricane (you'll meet her later). On our way home form the airport, we got really lost going home despite GPS+iPhone navigation. It was nice being lost with you J+H.
The next day, H and I slept in and by the afternoon, but we had to haul ass to make it onto the train on time, which we did by a very very fine hair. The rest, my dearest blog, can only be described in pictures.
I know in none of these photos except for the last can you really see what I'm wearing under the parka, but would like to tell you that it was 30 degrees the whole time and being the southern girl that I am, I simply could not bring myself to take off my jacket, even for blog photos. I hope you enjoyed my photos nevertheless. I tried to give you a sampling of the things we did, the places we went, the food we ate, and all the fun we had. This was my first "girl's trip" and it exceeded all my hopes and dreams. I am so grateful to have lived this long such that I may have had the experience of going to New York City with my best friends.
